My last blackout lasted almost 3 days - 3 days without electricity, water and heating at winter. It launches dozens of missiles not at our military bases, but at critical energy infrastructure. While the world now knows: the victory of Ukraine is only a matter of time, the terrorist state of russia, in denial of this, resorted to thing it does best - terrorism. Backlog, check. The most important status update since the beginning of russian invasion.Īs many of you know, I'm Ukrainian. Too nutty!īut for a little while, it was a fun little rush. The streets in the game are massively wide rather than cosy Victorian, the regions aren’t representative of the real architecture or flavor of the districts, the map layout isn’t boiled down as authentically as GTAIV did for NYC and worst of all, the views onto the Bay and beyond are a muddled background mess that could be Kansas farmland for all I can tell.Īnd I know it’s not really a fair criticism for a silly arcade racer, but the space shift mechanic pretty much means that hundreds of car thefts, maniacal learner driver lessons, bank heists, street races and all the rest are literally playing out all at the same time, in real time… immersion whore as I am, I just can’t swallow the pill… it’s too nutty. It does make a spectacularly cardinal sin of placing the game in SF, and yet managing to not feel like SF, like… at all. Like ya’ll say above, it’s arcade frenetic fun and the stories are a nice touch. Many years after release and several years after I bought this, I finally got around to playing it.
