Pull the forearm off, remove the barrels, and look for it on the underside of the barrels and on the flats of the receiver, where the barrels rest against the receiver when closed. If it was made before 1945, I dunno - maybe no code. The codes seem to start in 1945 and the gun was discontinued in 1967, so yours will probably have a Roman numeral between I and XXIII.
